Peggy Jean Miller, a resident of Dothan, AL passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at a local hospital. She was 63.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Sunset Funeral Home with Pastor Tyrone Boykin officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Ms. Miller was born January 24, 1954 in Ft. Pope, Louisiana to the late James and Sarah Crooks and spent the early part of her life traveling around the country with a military father. She has been a resident of Dothan for many years where she spent most of her time as a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them as often as possible.

Survivors include her children, Jeremy (Tammy) Miller, Christy Miller, and Kimberly Miller; her grandchildren, Brianna Grooms, Kayla Miller, Madison Miller, and Brittney Burns; her great-grandchildren, Devaeh Lovejoy and Skye Hill; her brothers, Phillip (Linda) Crooks and Ronnie (Melanie) Crooks; her sister, Donna (Carlos) McCabe; several nieces and nephews.
