Penny Fuller, 50, of Dothan passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family.


Celebration of Life services will be held 11 am Monday at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. The family will receive friends following the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3054 McGehee Rd., Montgomery, AL, 36111.


Penny was born May 18, 1961 in Quincy, IL and moved to Opp, AL at an early age. She was a 1979 graduate of Northview High School. She has been living in Dothan since 1984 and was employed with Women’s Healthcare for the past 21 years. Penny’s work was very special to her and she cared deeply for all of her patients, co-workers, and the physicians she worked with.


Survivors include her sons, Adam Fuller and Alex Fuller both of Dothan; her parents, Clarence and Nancy Peter of Dothan; brothers and sisters, Tim Peter of Dothan, Todd Peter of Palm Springs, CA, Pam Samples of Jacksonville, IL, and Jayne Wood of Jack, AL; her grandmother, Justine Peter of Quincy, IL; her Aunt Marlene Peter of Dothan as well several other Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; several nieces and nephews also survive.
