WEBB…Philip Elijah Belflower, a resident of Webb, died Wednesday evening, October 22, 2014, in Ozark. He was 91.


            Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11:00 A.M. in the Webb Cemetery with Dr. Rick Marshall and Dr. Walter Reeder officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the mortuary in Headland.


            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Webb Baptist Church, P.O. Box 70, Webb, AL 36376.


            Mr. Belflower, son of the late Elijah Belflower and Iris Ivey Belflower, was a  lifelong resident of Houston County and lived in Webb all of his adult lifetime. He retired as the Owner and Operator of Bay Circle Service Station. Mr. Belflower was a member of the Webb Baptist Church, where he formerly served as a Deacon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Bell Deal Belflower, a daughter, Shirley Ann Craft Dahl, a sister, Lucille Marshall and three sons-in-law: Roger Fleming (Marilyn), Ed Lynn and Fritz Dahl (Shirley).


            Surviving relatives include two daughters, Linda Craft Elliott (Rob), Ozark and Marilyn Craft Perkins (Guy), Princeton, WV; six  grandchildren, Jason Slaick (Dawn), Eric Slaick (April), John Reeder (Elizabeth), Jeremy Lynn, Michael Fleming, Robert Fleming (Maria); eight great-grandchildren, Marly Lynn and Phoebe Reeder, Jacob,  Jordyn, and Jaedyn Slaick and Logan, Lillie, and Laurali Slaick.
