Philip Lee Walters, a resident of Ariton, passed away on December 15, 2022 at his residence. He was 63 years old.


A celebration of his life will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, December 19, 2022 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.


Phil was born on May 2, 1959 in Clarksburg, West Virginia and lived in Adamston, WV most of his younger years. He lived in Nutter Fort, WV until he began traveling around the country staying in many states. Phil enjoyed to going fishing, especially deep-sea fishing and working on small engines.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Sara Sue and Charles Edward, Walters Sr., and siblings, Charles “Ed” Edward Walters, II and Patricia “Patty” Margarete Lovetro.


Survivors include his sister, Lisa Frymyer; a special niece, Caryn Frymyer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
