HEADLAND. . . Phillip Keith Lingo, Sr., a resident of the Pleasant Plains Community of Henry County, died Tuesday morning, November 14, 2017, at his home. He was 54.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, November 17, 2017 in the Pleasant Plains Baptist Church with Pastor Darrell Cook officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Friday in the church sanctuary. Holman Headland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Davita Dialysis, 1757 E. Main St., Dothan, AL 36301.
Phillip Lingo was a lifelong resident of the Pleasant Plains Community, between Headland and Columbia. Phillip was a member of the Pleasant Plains Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Tollie Lingo, his mother, Kathryn Royals Whatley and his step-father, Rudolph Whatley, and a very special aunt, Ruth Baxter.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Debbie DeLoach Lingo; two daughters, Crystal Lingo, Cowarts; and Ashley Reed (Alex), Webb; two sons, Bryan Lingo, Dothan, and Phillip “P.J.” Lingo, Jr., Headland; six grandchildren, Logan Goodman, Mackenzie Goodman, Kathryn Lingo, Danielle McLeod, Alex Reed and Khloie Lingo.
