DOTHAN. . .Phoebe Bullard Hamm, a resident of Dothan, died Monday afternoon, June 7, 2021, in a Dothan hospital. She was 92.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 9, 2021, in the Balkum Baptist Church with Reverend Tom Chestnut and Reverend Brad Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in the Balkum Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 P.M. Wednesday in the church sanctuary. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Balkum Cemetery Fund, c/o Beulah Morgan, 4153 County Road 56, Headland, AL 36345.
Mrs. Hamm was born and reared in the Balkum Community of Henry County, daughter of the late William Terry Bullard and Baby Lou Beasley Bullard. She lived in Dothan most of her adult lifetime where she retired from Hedstrom as Payroll Clerk. Mrs. Hamm was a member of the Balkum Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Dalton Hamm.
Surviving relatives include a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Glenn Morgan, Jeff Bostick, Mickey DeShazo, Jackson Morgan, T. J. Allen and David Caraway. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Joy Sunday School Class.
