Phyllis Peacock Johnson was received into the arms of God, Monday, February 10th, 2014. She was 67 years old and lived in the Echo Community. Phyllis was born and raised in Hartford, Alabama. She graduated from Geneva County High School in 1965.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Norris Johnson, father, Truett Peacock, brother, Orlin Eggers and sister, Barbara P. Weller.

She is survived by two sons, Keith Lewis (Twyla), and Colby Lewis (Miranda); three grandchildren, Callie Lewis, Robyn Lewis, and Noriah Griswold; mother, Dora Mae Sheffield; sisters, Sharon Standley (David Munyon), Patsy Barron (Buddy), and Tammy Peacock; brothers, Marshall Peacock, Steve Peacock (Vaughn Oswald).

Memorial services will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church, Hartford, Alabama on Friday, Feb. 14th at 11:00 am. The family will receive visitors at the church an hour before service.
