Prentice Ruth Campbell, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at a local hospital. She was 77.

Funeral services will be held 11am Friday at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. W.F. Morris officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Campbell was born in Dale County Alabama where she attended Dale County High School. She graduated Alabama State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and her Masters Degree in Business Administration. She taught at Rehobeth High School and later Wicksburg High School until her retirement in 2009.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by, her nephews; Douglas (Renee) Grubbs; Chris (Rebecca) Grubbs, Craig Grubbs; and a host of cousins, family, students, and friends.
