Ralph Don “Butch” Lewis, Jr., a resident of Dothan, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at his residence. He was 56.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Covenant United Methodist Church with Rev. Kyle Gatlin officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30-2 pm Wednesday.

Butch was born on August 20, 1962 in Montgomery, AL and moved to Dothan at an early age. He was a 1981 graduate of Houston Academy. Butch attended Auburn University and received a degree in Building Science in 1986. He returned to Dothan to work in the family construction business, Lewis and Associates. Butch loved Auburn and all Auburn sports. He enjoyed basketball, hunting, and fishing. Butch was a former member of the Tuesday Rotary Club and served as past president. He attended Covenant United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Starla Lewis; his sons, Taylor Lewis and Whit Harrison; his daughters, Regan Lewis (Matt) McTier and Mary Katherine Lewis; his brother, Mike (Crystal) Lewis; his sister, Donda Lewis (Jeff) Goodson; his 4 nieces and nephews, Claire Lewis, Hayes Lewis, Anna Beth Goodson, and Callie Goodson.
