Mr. Randall A. Glover, age 77, a resident of Wicksburg died Friday, May 12, 2023, at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Buddy Hood officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory with Glover Funeral Home directing.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m., Monday, May 15, 2023.

Flowers will be accepted, or contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.

Mr. Glover was born on March 13, 1946, in Pinckard, the son of William Stafford and Claudie Mae Peters Glover.  He lived his early years in Pinckard and Ardilla community before moving to Dothan where he was a 1965 Graduate of Dothan High School.  He began his career with Hamac Volkswagen Corporation where he worked for nine years before he started Randall Glover’s Auto Service in 1972 until his time of death.  Randall served in the Army National Guard for seven years and was a member of Pilgrim Home Baptist Church in Wicksburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother, Helen Mae Webb Glover; two sisters, Janice McKnight, and Doris Roth Maddox; two brothers, Gwen, and Roger Glover.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Sybil Reeder Glover, Wicksburg; three daughters, Angie Glover Murphy (Chris), Wicksburg; Laurie Glover Ross (Shane), Headland; Gypsy Glover Cole (Blake), Dothan; two sisters, Glenda Glover Wheeless (Marvin), and Claudia Glover Strickland (Wesley), both of Wicksburg; one brother, Reginald Glover (Debbie), Wicksburg; six grandchildren, Jade Hughes (Tray Thompson), Shelton Murphy (Stephanie), Skipper Murphy (Dakota), Gabby Murphy, Mason Ross, and Camden Ross; four great-grandchildren, Kenna Hughes, Cooper Hughes, Shaley Murphy, and Swayze Murphy; several nieces and nephews. Faithful friend and employee for 43 years, Ronald Peters.

Pallbearers will be: Jonathan Wheeless, Jason Strickland, Slade Glover, Jarrad Glover, Lawrence Carroll and Charles Carroll.
