RANDY CLAYTON TUCKER
WEBB… Randy Clayton Tucker, a resident of Webb, AL, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, September 30 after a recent illness. He was 69 years old.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, Oct 3, 2024 at Webb Baptist Church in Webb, AL. The family will receive friends from10:00 until 11:00 A.M. prior to the service.
Randy was born in Charlotte, NC and lived in many cities in the Southeast before settling in Webb. Randy was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. He built a career as a project manager at Qualico Steel, where he made many deep personal connections. Known for his constant motion and constant learning, Randy nurtured diverse hobbies including raising horses, motorcycling, hiking, photography, woodworking, and metalworking. Each activity brought new and lasting friendships.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Mary Frances Tucker, as well as his brother, Harold Tucker, Jr. Randy was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and his memories are celebrated by his wife Connie Tucker, his sons Adam Tucker (Dawn Tucker) and Alex Tucker (Kirk Burkhart), and his 3 grandchildren Bryce, Lizzy, and Ellie--all of whom he adored. Randy is also survived by many cherished family members: sister-in-law Evelyn Tucker, brother-in-law Clay Buie (Susanna Buie), a niece and several nephews.
Randy’s life will be cherished by his family and the friendships he’s created along the way. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Webb Baptist Church or Sola Baptist Church.
