Steven “Randy” Weems, of Webb, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at his residence. He was 61.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Weems officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1-2 pm.

Randy was born April 9, 1956 in Birmingham, AL. He moved to Dothan in 1962 and lived here the earlier years of his life. In 1969, he moved to Daleville, and was a 1976 graduate of Daleville High School, where he played in the marching band. Randy was employed with Tri-State Glass Company, Holiday Inn, Ramada Inn, and Comfort Inn and Suites as a maintenance supervisor until he was medically retired.

Survivors include his wife Alicia Weems; his sons, Steven Randolph Weems II and Shane Thomas Weems; his daughter, Julia Lynn Smith; his grandson, Anthony Cameron Whitehurst; his mother, Patsy Irvine; his brother, Dennis Weems; his sister, Susan Weems; his nephew, Trey Gallagher; his niece Sarrah Dutkofski; and several nieces and nephews.
