RAVON MOORE
Mr. Ravon Moore was born July 12, 1954 to the late Holmon and Esmer Culver Moore in Headland, Alabama. He resided in Newville, Alabama. He accepted Christ and was faithful member of Greater Shiloh Baptist Church where he was a musician playing the lead guitar over twenty years.
He was a 1972 graduate of Headland High School where he played on the varsity football team and a member of the Navy ROTC.
He was retired from Rebwood, INC of Headland, Alabama. He was also manager and a member of Sensational Golden Bells Gospel Singers of Dothan, Alabama for over 45 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Colmon Moore, a sister Ozzie Lee Moore Glover. He leaves to cherish his memories, a wife Phyllis Bell Moore; two children Roderick D. Moore of Tampa, Florida, Rhonda D. Moore (Charles) of Cocoa, Florida; four grandchildren Te’Aria, Ran’Niequa, Rakuan (Alexis) of Cocoa, Florida, KeyShanna of Tampa, Florida; two great-great grandchildren; two step sons Wallace Bell, Calvin Johnson of Florida; one brother David (Carol) Moore of Dothan, Alabama; three sisters Gloria (Foy) Williams, Cathy Tiller of Headland, Alabama, Eudonice Humphrey of Orange, New Jersey; two special cousins Jesse (Joyce) Moore, Mary Kirkland. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 4, 2022, 2 pm. At Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church (12 MLK Drive, Headland, Alabama, 36345) visitation will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022, 5-7 p.m. at Family First Funeral Care Chapel (965 Woodland Drive, Dothan, AL 36301.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alabama Kidney Foundation 265 Riverchase Parkway E Suite 106, Birmingham, AL 35244.
