Raymond Erving Cox, aged 82, a cherished father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2023, in Enterprise, Alabama. Born on March 8, 1941, in Tampa, Florida, Raymond led a life marked by dedication, kindness, and an unwavering sense of community.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

After honorably serving in the Army for six years, Raymond committed his professional life to the Bay County School Board where he retired as a computer engineer. He was a dedicated member of the Rainbow Bridge Baptist Church. Raymond's passion for trains reflected not just a hobby but a deep fascination with the journey’s life takes us on.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents and wife of 38 years Jacqueline Forbes Cox. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Melisa Bowden, her husband Jerry, and grandson Aron Bowden, all of whom were the pride and joy of his life.
