Raymond Hawkins, a resident of Taylor, AL passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2011.

He was 91.

 

Mr. Hawkins was a veteran of World War II.

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 2 P. M. from the chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend John Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home Directing.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Chapel from 1 Until 2 P. M., one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Taylor Senior Citizens Center, 1457 S. Co. Rd. 59, Taylor, AL or Southern Care Hospice, 2576 Montgomery Hwy., Suite 2, Dothan, AL 36303.

 

Mr. Hawkins was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Coulliette Hawkins and his two children, Charles Raymond Hawkins and Vera Carolyn Piefer.

Survivors include four Grandchildren, Laura Lazar and husband Benjamin, Lee Piefer, Stacey Hawkins and wife Carolina and Stephanie Hill.

Great grandchildren, Madeline and Abigail Lazar, Daniel and David Piefer, Clarissa and Dale Hensley, Elexander and Fletcher Hill and Lillyan and Scott Hawkins.
