OZARK. . .Raymond Jerry Herring, a resident of Ozark, died Sunday morning, September 25, 2022, at his home. He was 73.

There are no memorial or funeral services planned at this time. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

Raymond Jerry Herring was born and reared in Hollywood, Florida. He moved to Ozark in 1988. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Ellis Herring,  his mother, Jennie Thompson Lindeman and a brother, Gary Reed Herring.

Surviving relatives include a sister, Lillian Teresa Herring Young, a brother, Frank A. Herring and a nephew, Michael R. Young, all of Ozark.

The family would like to express their appreciation to First Choice Hospice and its nurses and personnel, for the loving care and kindness shown to Jerry during his illness with terminal cancer.
