REGINALD SCOTT
SHORTERVILLE, AL… Reginald Scott, a resident of Shorterville, Alabama, passed away Thursday morning, December 23, 2021, at his home. He was 74.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Brother Guy Causey officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbeville Memorial East Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Shorterville Baptist Church, 896 CR 65, Shorterville, Alabama 36373.
Mr. Scott was born in Henry County, Alabama to the late Calvin Scott and Omagene Whitehead Scott. He was retired from Westpoint Stevens in the shipping and receiving department. He was an avid fisherman. He loved his rods and reels and his knives. He was a member of the Shorterville Baptist Church.
Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Cutchens.
Leaving to cherish his memories is his wife, Elizabeth (Beth) Scott; his daughters, Deborah Shehane (Allen), Ruby Jenkins (Bob), and Tina Bailey; his sons, Mitchell & Chad Scott and their families; his sisters, Glenda Moring and Annette Shaver; his brothers, Wesley Scott (Toni) and Dewayne Scott (Jackie); his ten grandchildren; his eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
His grandsons and a nephew will serve as active pallbearers.
