            Rev. Edward W. Sapp of Enterprise, AL passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013.  He was 84.

 

            Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2013 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Rev. Royce Morrow officiating.  Interment will be in the Smith Family Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL on Friday, March 15 at 2:00 pm EST with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 12 noon until 1:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chancellor Assembly of God Church Missions, P.O. Box 87, Chancellor, AL 36316.

 

            Rev. Sapp was born February 14, 1929 in Florida to the late Markley and Clara Dobbs Sapp.  He was a member of the Chancellor Assembly of God Church and worked extensively in missions.  He moved to Enterprise in the late 1980s.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Eva Mae Sapp and a son, Edward Mark Sapp.

 

            He is survived by his wife, Derothea Sapp, Enterprise; 2 daughters: Denese Mealor, Darla Morgan, both of Jacksonville, FL; 2 sons: Ronald Sapp (Debbie), Jacksonville, Michael Sapp, Panama City, FL; 5 stepsons and many grandchildren.
