Rev. Jerry Horace Fleming, 77, of Andalusia, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Jerry is predeceased by his Dad, Meldred Fleming, Mom, Donie Fleming, and sister, Sharon Baker.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patsy Ruth Fleming (Toney); son, Jerod H. Fleming (Beth) of Madison; two granddaughters, Evelyn and Kahlan of Madison; brother, Bruce Fleming (Linda) of Montgomery; sister, Jennie F. Winger (Keith) of Mobile.
Jerry graduated from Southeastern University with a BA degree. While there he met his wife and
married on April 20, 1973. He also earned two Master’s Degrees in Theology and Missions at the
Assembly of God Graduate School in Springfield, Missouri. Jerry served the Lord in ministry for 38 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM at HIghfalls Assembly of God Church in Geneva County with Rev. Ricky Shaw officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Highfalls Assembly of God Cemetery.
