Reverend Norman Millard Sizemore, 82, peacefully exited this life to join his Lord and Savior on May 25, 2013.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at 11 A.M. at Harper’s Joy Assembly of God Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Reverends David Fernandez, Thomas Harrison and Danny Bradshaw will officiate with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mr. Sizemore served in the US Army as a MP; he was then employed with the City of Dothan as Meter Reader. He retired after 20 years of service from the US Post office.
Mr. Sizemore was a member of Harper’s Joy Assembly of God and faithfully served the Lord in any facet presented to him. His entire life was exemplary in all respect; his love for his family and friends was above reproach. With compassion he witnessed to many through music and song.
Reverend Sizemore was an Assembly of God Minister and Pastored Headland First Assembly of God for 25 years until he retired due to health reasons.
Mr. Sizemore was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Dorothy Nell Jones Sizemore, his parents, William and Nora Sizemore; five brothers and a sister.
He is survived by wife, Juanita, his daughter, Joy Sizemore Martin and fiancée, David Parker; very special granddaughter, Savannah Martin, step-daughter, Martha (Lomax) Lunsford, several step-grandchildren and great grands, many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to specially recognized Mrs. Doris Moore for her love and dedication as a caregiver. A very special thank you to Dr. Richard Kennedy and Dr. Frank Crockett for their care and compassion.
