Rhonda Sellers Tomasino
Rhonda Tomasino, age 54 passed away, Saturday, April 10, 2020 following a brief illness at a local hospital.
A celebration of life service will be held at noon on Saturday, April 18, 2020 in the chapel of Family First Funeral Care with Reverend Joey Hudspeth and Chaplain John Gormley officiating. A brief visitation period will be held one hour prior to service time and social distancing will be monitored closely. At all other times the family will be at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Amy & Jason Shepard in Dothan.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, who was a beautiful, kind and compassionate lady. Rhonda was born December 9, 1965 in Columbus Georgia. She was a 1984 graduate of Headland High School. After graduation, she joined the United States Army and served seven years. After an honorable discharge, she was employed in various facets including owning an oyster boat in Apalachicola, Florida.
Preceded in death by her birth mother, Patricia Grady Sellers when Rhonda was very young. Father Ronald Sellers, grandparents, James W. & Margaret “Polly” Kirkland Sellers, Anderson & Johnnie Grady, Columbus, GA, Stanton “S.A.” & Dorothy Thompson, father-in- law Vincent Tomasino.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher Tomasino, Webb; two sons, Charles (Shauntay) Flake, Swansea, SC, and Christopher (Jordan) Flake, Columbia, SC; five grandchildren, Shaun, Patrick, Sadie, Ethan and Jackson Flake all of SC; Mother that raised her, Linda Thompson Sellers, brother, Ronnie (Susan) Sellers of Washington; two sisters, Amanda Brackin, Columbia, Amy (Jason) Shepard, Dothan; nieces and nephews, Christopher, Robert and Abby Sellers of Washington, Baileigh and Peyton Martin of Dothan.
