RICHARD JOHN MUCCIO

GORDON… Richard John Muccio, a resident of Gordon, Alabama, passed away Sunday morning, June 9, 2024, at his home. He was 71.

          Graveside services will be held 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Crestlawn Cemetery, in Avon, Alabama. The family will receive friends following the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

          Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Muccio memory, to the Angel of Hope, 300 Greenbriar Drive, Dothan, Alabama 36301.

          Mr. Muccio was born in Patterson, New Jersey to the late Giovanni Persian Muccio and Josephine Viola Muccio. He was employed with Hardwick’s Flooring in Dothan, Alabama for many years. He was a very avid golfer. Richard loved his mustang, “Ponies Up”. He was of the Catholic faith.

          Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife, Catherine Anne Bronsing Muccio; his sons, Richard Muccio (Jamie Swartzentruver), Ryan John Muccio (Emily Kate), Ronald Brett Muccio (Annalyn Ramos), and Joseph Lee Muccio (Samantha Appel); his sister, Veronica Maseth (Albert); and his grandchildren, Leah Muccio, Logan Muccio, Nathaniel Muccio, Alora Muccio, Hunter Swartzentruver, Casey Borders, and Kelli Springs.

          Serving as active pallbearers will be his sons and grandsons.
