GORDON, ALABAMA. . .Richard Monroe Fuller, a resident of Gordon, Alabama, died early Wednesday morning, November 25, 2020, at his home. He was 80.


     Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 28, 2020, in the Webb Cemetery with Reverend Joel Laseter officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Social distancing guidelines and masks will be observed. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.


     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105


     Mr. Fuller was born in Carryville, Arkansas and was reared in Flint, Michigan, son of the late William Silas Fuller and Violet Goodwin Fuller. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era and was stationed in Korea. He formerly lived in Swartz Creek, Michigan and Cape Coral, Florida before moving to Gordon in 2008. Mr. Fuller was a member of the Webb Baptist Church. He was retired from General Motors in Flint, Michigan.


     Surviving relatives include his wife, Cynthia Cloin Fuller; two sons, Tyson Fuller (Andrea), Pansey, AL; and Kip Fuller, Enterprise, AL; a brother, Lee Fuller (Jan), Flint, Michigan; four grandchildren, Danielle Cannan, Hannah Cannan, Tyson “T J” Fuller, Jr. and Skyee Fuller; a great-grandson, Noah Deluca.
