RICHARD THOMAS PRIDE
HEADLAND.…Richard Thomas Pride, a resident of Headland, Alabama passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 24, 2020, at his home. He was 71.
No services are planned at this time.
Mr. Pride was born in Paramount, California to the late Glendal Pride and Patricia Emma Johanna Mathijsse Pride-Pope. He lived in Temple City, California until about 35 years ago when he moved to Headland, Alabama. He was employed as a welder in the steel manufacturer industry. He was retired from the US Army National Guard. He was a member of the St. Columba Catholic Church in Dothan, Alabama. He was the founder of the VBVMC.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his daughters, Elissa Morrill of Headland, Alabama, and Regina Marie Padilla Gerdes (Lance) of Phoenix, Arizona; his son, Bryan Pride (Sharon) of Headland, Alabama; and his sister, Emille Elaine Pride of Webb, Alabama; his grandchildren; Cedric Gerdes, Amber Morrill, Zane Morrill, Haley Pride, and Delila Gerdes.
