Richard Tom Marsh

Richard Marsh, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. He was 77 years old.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Thursday, December 10, 2020 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Presley officiating. Inurnment with military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10-11 am.

Mr. Marsh was born on December 14, 1942 to Thomas J. and Gladys Fields Marsh in Florida. He lived there the early years of his life. Mr. Marsh proudly served in the United States Navy for several years, and later worked for the Orange County School Board. He and his family moved to Dothan in 1984, where he owned and operated Marsh’s Small Engine Repair. He was a “Jack of all trades”, repairing almost anything. Mr. Marsh was a deeply devoted family man and cherished spending time with them and will be dearly missed.

Survivors included his wife of 52 years, Charlotte Marsh; his sons, Thomas (Melissa) Marsh and Matthew Marsh; his sister, Donna Marsh.
