Richie was born on June 17, 1974 in Albany, Georgia and moved to Dothan, AL when he was approximately 14 years of age. He worked as a master painter to put himself through school to become a paramedic. He served the Wiregrass Community for 20 years as a paramedic until he was medically retired. He then continued on with a lawn care business and whatever else he could do to support his family.
Richie loved going to Smith’s Bend, riding his boat, his motorcycle or whatever else would go fast enough. He loved his family more than anything and was more than ready for any sacrifice he ever needed to make on their behalf. He will be forever missed and remain in our hearts.
Richie is survived by his sons, Blake Dooling, Austin Dooling, and Ryker Dooling; his Father, Ricky (Ginger) Dooling; his mother, Brenda Ethridge; his brothers, Nicholas Dooling, Brandon Ethridge, Mitchell Ethridge, Cody Dooling, and Zachariah Dooling; his best friend, lifelong companion, and mother to Blake and Austin, Jennie Hembree; and a host of extended family and friends.
