Ricky Allen Donald was born March 20, 1986 to Linda Sue and Larry Donald. He fought the good fight, finished his course, and was pleased with the decisions God made for his life. Ricky passed on April 18, 2019 just before midnight. While on his chariot ride to freedom, he closed his eyes tightly and saw a never-never land. There he could find peace with no sickness and surely no more pain. He saw a land where we’ll never grow old. He stepped out of his chariot to return no more. He is now resting in the waiting room and waiting for you and me.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Friday, April 26, 2019 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 4-6 pm.

Mr. Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Kennedy Bradley; sister, Martha Cummings and grandfather, Rev. E.J. Donald.

He leaves cherished memories to his mother, Linda Sue Donald; father, Larry (Angela) Donald; daughters, Trinity White and Namira Meyers; grandmother, Elnora Donald Smiley; sisters, Omeka (Barbara) Bonner, Erica (Derek) Sanders, Stephanie (James) Warner, Crystal (DeAndrea) Jamith; brothers, Duane (Diane) Teague, Larry (Pam) Donald, Marcus Donald, Robert (Shantrel) Parrish, Marcus Grubbs, Shawn Hollis and Jordy (Veronica) Culver; a very special niece, Asia McNealy; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
