Ricky Lee Clark, 66, of Dothan passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab.
Services will be 1 pm Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church at 356 Randolph Street in Pinckard, AL with Rev. Jackson L. Glover, Pastor officiating.
Ricky Lee Clark was born December 13, 1945 to the late Joseph and Maurine Clark in Dale County, Alabama. At an early age, he confessed Christ and was baptized at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Pinckard, Alabama.
He grew up and attended Pinckard High School, later named Mack M. Matthews High School in May of 1964. After graduation, he was drafted into the United States Army. Ricky served in the U.S. Army for 3 years and spent 18 months in Vietnam.
Ricky Lee Clark departed this life on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Bonifay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bonifay, Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Clark, a brother, Joseph Edward Clark and his parents.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories five sons, Fredrick Tendle of Dothan, AL; Tresvant (Tashia) Clark of Camden, SC; Daverbalus Clark of Nevada; Jacobi Clark of New York; Michael Clark of Union City, GA; one daughter, Michele Stalmer of Union City, GA; five brothers, Kenneth (Evelyn) Clark of Santa Maria, CA; David Odell (Barbara) Clark of Pinckard, AL; Jerry (JoAnn) Clark and Maurice Lamar (Dorothy) Clark of Dothan, AL; Darryal E. Clark of Emelle, AL; six sisters, Mattie Elaine Clark of Upper Marlboro, MD; Jewel (Peter) Gulley and Cordelia (Donald) Newman of Birmingham, AL; Patsy (Gary) James of Midland City, AL; Lisa (Rufus) Cawthon of Dothan, AL; Mondesta LaRuth (Juan) Ortiz of Enterprise, AL; a sister-in-law, Bernice Clark of Minot, ND; one uncle, Luther C. Clark, Hillsboro, NJ; one aunt, Mattie Clark of Pinckard, AL; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
