Robbie Jewel Byrd Randall, 76, a resident of Dothan, AL departed this life on November 18, 2015 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center following a brief illness. Robbie was born August 2, 1939 in Dothan, AL.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Robbie was preceded in death by her husband Armster David Randall, her father Horatio Erskin Byrd, and her brother Charles E. Byrd.

Robbie was a registered nurse who unselfishly dedicated her life to caring for numerous patients in Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, and Dothan, AL. Robbie retired from the Houston County Health Department in 2000 as Supervisor in the Home Health Care Division.

Survivors include her children, Christopher (Renee) Randall, Sr. of Decatur, GA, Dwyane Randall of Dothan, AL, and Christopher Randall, Jr. of Tuscaloosa, AL; her loving mother, Julia C. Byrd of Dothan, AL; her sisters, Lois Shipman of Carson, CA, Carolyn Johnson of Dothan, AL, Betty Allen-Brissette of Phoenix, AZ, Mary (Nemire) Cooper of Chicago, IL, Lueretha Elaine Maynor of Dothan, AL and Jacquline Edith (Reafield) Vester of Dothan, AL; brothers, Edward Lawrence (Loyce) Byrd of Dothan, AL, Bobby Ray Byrd of Dothan, AL, and David (Mary) Byrd of Dothan, AL; aunts, Ella Byrd McCain of Birmingham, AL, Lois Hiers of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Annie Bell Webb of Pompano Beach, FL, Elizabeth Mouning of Palm Coast, FL, and Cellie Mourning of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a sister-in-law, Linda Parks of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Robbie Nicole Randall, Derrick Randall, and Jordan Randall; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
