Robert “Bob” Charles Tucker, Jr.
Robert “Bob” Charles Tucker, Jr, age 88 of Dothan passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at his home under the care of Kindred Hospice.
Visitation for Bob will be held Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 10am in the chapel at Family First Funeral Care with the funeral service to follow at 11am with Chaplain Kevin Kelly of Kindred Hospice officiating the service.
Bob was born November 14, 1932 in St. Clair County, Alabama to Robert Charles Tucker, Sr and Jesse Smith Tucker.
He always said his family was his hobby. He enjoyed spending time with them and doing various acts of kindness that he never took credit for instead giving God the Glory. He was a loving father and son and will be deeply missed. Bob was a member and Deacon at Grandview Baptist Church. He was an electrician working at St. Clair County, Hayes International and later at Georgia Pacific.
Bob is predeceased by his wife Sue Roper Tucker; parents, brothers James “Jim” Tucker, Donald “Don” Tucker, brother-in-law Wayne Roper and a sister-in-law, Glenda Tucker.
Survivors include his daughters, Cheryl Davenport (Johnny), Pam Cox (Randy), Robin Anderson (Charles); his grandchildren, Shane Sellers (Brooke), Andy Anderson, Nathan Anderson, and Alexandra Cox; great grandchildren, Beau Sellers, and Bella Sellers, as well as sister-in-law Carol Tucker.
