Robert "Bob" Maddox, of Slocomb passed away Wednesday August 30, 2017 at his residence. He was 64.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Friday September 1, 2017 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior at the funeral home.

Bob was born September 13, 1952 in Saco, Maine, he resided the early years of his life there and he was a 1970 graduate of Biddeford High School. He moves to New Hampshire and was employed as a carpenter. Bob lived in Kissimmee, Florida for 9 years before relocating to Slocomb in 1991 and he work with Burt Williams Construction Company for 18 years until his retirement in 2016. Bob loved the outdoors and hunting, but especially enjoyed fishing on Lake Eufaula and Victor Lake in Florida. Bob attended St. Columba Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Raye Maddox; his son, Michael Maddox, (Liz); his granddaughter, Sydney Maddox; his sisters, Virginia Havu of Maine and Carol Maddox, (William Rich) of New Hampshire; several nieces and nephews.
