HEADLAND. . .Robert Carr “Bobby” Loucks, a resident of Headland, died late Thursday afternoon, August 29, 2024, at his home. He was 79.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 2, 2024, in the Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Abbeville with Pastor Tim Hamblen officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:00 A.M. Monday in the church sanctuary. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Loucks was born in Ft. George G. Meade, Maryland. He lived many years in Collins, Mississippi before moving to Henry County, near Headland, in 1987. Mr. Loucks was a member of Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church. He was retired from the U. S. Department of Agriculture as an Egg Inspector at Rembrant Foods in Abbeville. Mr. Loucks was preceded in death by his Father, Robert Theodore Loucks, his mother, Grace McRaney Graham, his step-father, Ernest Graham, and his wife, Ann Drennan Loucks.
Surviving relatives include a daughter, Teresa Beasley (Bryant), Abbeville; a step-daughter, Pam Gray (Tom), Topsail, NC; two sisters, Doris Keys (Michael), Esatawpa, MS; and Susan Dubose (Alton), Purvis, MS; a brother, William Graham (Lori), Wilmington, NC; two grandchildren, Samantha Beasley (Dre Rodriguez) and Cortney Beasley; three step-grandchildren, Carlie Gray, Carson Gray and Cate Gray; a great-grandchild, Cole Garner.
