Robert Kelly Morgan of Level Plains passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.  He was 83.

 

Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Chaplain Kimberly Yaronczyk officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.

 

Robert was born August 28, 1933, in Paragould, Arkansas.  He was retired from the United States Army.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Beulah Kelly Morgan; and the mother of his children, Sachiko Morgan.

 

Survivors include his wife, Kum Morgan of Level Plains; four children: Barbara Smith (Mark) of Ohio, David Morgan (Beth) of Gadsden, Richard Morgan (Michelle) of Washington D.C., and Patricia Vulpis (Nunzio) of Carey, North Carolina; sister, Marilyn Olson of California; six grandchildren.
