Robert  Kenneth Seagle, known affectionately as Bob, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2023, in Dothan, Alabama. Born on October 12, 1934, in Morganton, North Carolina, Robert lived a life full of adventure and love, leaving a lasting legacy for his family and friends.



A Memorial Service will be held at 11:45 AM Sunday, July 30, 2023, in the New Covenant Christian Fellowship Church with Reverend Bo Grice officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Covenant Christian Fellowship Church  3500 Reeves Street Dothan, AL 36303.



Robert was a man of many talents and accomplishments. He served his country as a Navy Seal and Communications Officer for five years. He retired with the FAA after 33 years as an Air Traffic Controlman.  In 1961, Robert married the love of his life, Gay Seagle. Their marriage of 62 years was a testament to their enduring love and commitment. Together, they raised three sons, Larry Seagle (Kathy), John Seagle (Charity), Robert Dean Seagle (Lynn), and a daughter, Michelle Seagle. He is also survived by a sister, Alice Phillips, and a brother Edward Seagle (Mattie)

Robert's love for music led him to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. His performances there were cherished by his country music fans all over the United States and Panama.

In remembering Robert, we celebrate a life well-lived. His journey was one of courage, love, and adventure. His memory will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know him.
