Robert Lee “Bobby” Hill, 40, a resident of Dothan, passed away Wednesday February 4, 2022, at a local hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4pm- 6pm on Sunday.
Bobby was born September 25, 1981 in Indianapolis, Indiana and lived the early years of his life in Eufaula, Alabama. He moved to Dothan in 1994 and graduated from Northview High School in 1999. He had a passion for playing music in high school and he played for several bands including Hadji and The Turbins, Fair Weather Friends, and For the Birds. Music was truly his passion; he wrote a lot of his own music and could play most any instrument he picked up. He was an extremely talented musician.
Bobby was preceded in death by his grandparents, DJ and Merline Ray, Archie and Louise Woodham, his aunts and uncles, Larry Ray, Martha and Larry LeFever, and his father, Norm Hill.
Survivors include his parents, Maple “Tree” and Randy Woodham; his sister, Sherri (Andre) Rellosa; his brothers, Jon (Sarah) Hill and Chris Woodham; eight nieces and nephews, Caitlin Hill, Ollie Woodham, Layla Johnston, Presley Chateau, Reece Chateau, Stephen Woodham, Alexander Hill and Jace Rellosa; his aunts and uncles, Myra Bright, Mary Ray and Carol (Steve) Reader; several cousins including one of his closest, Brandi Burkett.
