ABBEVILLE. . .Robin Anderson Moat, a resident of Abbeville, died Thursday, September 26, 2024, at her home. She was 50.

            A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the family residence. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

            Robin Moat was a lifelong resident of the Screamer community of Henry County, near Abbeville. She was a graduate of Abbeville High School. Robin was formerly employed by the Mead Corporation in Cottonton, AL. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Puckett Anderson and a sister, Diane Jones.

            Surviving relatives include her husband, Silas James Moat; a daughter, Kristina Moat, Dothan; a son, James Dylan Moat, Pennsylvania; her father, Andy Anderson, Abbeville; two sisters, Barbara Anderson, Abbeville; and Theresa Savell (Timothy), Headland; a brother, James Anderson, Austin, TX; grandchildren, Nevaeh Griffin, Andrew Griffin, Jr., Tyler Griffin, Caden Griffin and Chloe Moat.
