Ronald “Duane” Douglas, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. He was 51 years old.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Pastor Chris Cable officiating.
Duane was born on February 7, 1971 in Dothan and lived here his entire life. He attended Rehobeth High School and after school he entered the workforce as a “jack of all trades”. Duane enjoyed working to put up metal buildings and roofing most of all. He loved playing baseball and softball, but he especially loved the Atlanta Braves, and enjoyed watching Troy University and Florida State University play.
Duane was preceded in death by his father, Tony Douglas, his grandparents, Woodrow and Irene Crutchfield, and by his great grandparents, Richard and Essie Bea Savell.
Survivors include his daughter, Brooke Douglas; his two grandchildren, Scarlett Rogers and Savannah Sauls; his mother, Sybil (James) Shaw; his sister, Lorie (Buster) Holloway; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
