Ronald Glenn Sims

 

Ronald Glenn Sims, 77 of Webb, Al., was escorted to Heaven on October 26, 2022 while surrounded by his loving wife, children and sister.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 p.m. October 31, 2022 at Webb Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Ronald was born December 10, 1944 to Ralph and Gussie Tew Sims in Geneva County and raised in Slocomb; Al. Ronald served 3 years in the US Army. He moved to Webb, Al. where he raised his family. He loved the Lord, enjoyed attending church, camping, spending time with his family and Alabama Football. He retired from Lowes at the age of 62.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Gussie Sims, sister Cathy Sue Sims and a brother Ralph Sims.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 56 years, Sally Stone Sims, sons Allan Sims (Carla), Anthony Sims (Brytni), Andrews Sims (Katelyn), his daughters Tina Pound (Jesse) and Stacy Sims (Robert), 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a sister Sandra Sims Schobl (August), a brother Charles Sims (Barbara) and several nieces and nephews.

 

In lieu of flowers, to may donate to the Webb Baptist Church Building Fund.
