Ronald Jeremy Nance of Enterprise, AL passed into God’s loving arms on Sunday, December 22, 2019. He was 39.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Reverend John McCrummen officiating. Private family burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continuing until time of service.
Jeremy, God’s foot soldier, walked this earth in tune with his fellow man. He sheltered his family and loved them. Besides being the most dedicated husband and father, Jeremy enjoyed camaraderie with many friends, boating, playing softball, coaching children’s sports, football on weekends and sharing dinners. He could always be counted on to lighten everyone’s load and cheerfully help others.
He was born July 4, 1980 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and as an adolescent Jeremy worked with his father in construction and spent many days at the bowling alley with his grandmother, mother and sister. He came to Alabama as a young man on a baseball scholarship at Enterprise State Community College which led to residency in Enterprise and the birth of his oldest children, Avery and Chloe. He worked at Fort Rucker where he met and married Lisa, completing their family with their two youngest children, Tayven and Kinley. Jeremy will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by, his maternal grandparents Ralph and Ginny Landers; paternal grandmother, Mary Jane Moore and uncle, Tommy Nance
Survivors include his cherished wife, Lisa Kay Nance; children: Christian Avery Nance, Chloe Amara Nance, Tayven E. Cason and Kinley Paige Nance; his parents, Ronald and Georgina Nance of Surfside Beach, SC; sister, Jennifer Nance and niece, Ashlyn Herring of Surfside Beach, SC; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sonny and Leigh Hanner of Orange Beach, AL; our GG (Bobby); mother-in-law, Patricia Hanner of Dothan, AL; sister-in-law, Nikole McDonald (Kerry) of Enterprise, AL; brother-in-law, Marlin Hanner III (Marlana) of Gulf Shores, AL; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
