Ronald Mills Norris, a resident of Dothan passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at his residence. He was 81 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Brackin officiating. Burial will follow in the Norris Family Cemetery in Honoraville, AL (Crenshaw County). The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Spring Creek Baptist Church, 28 Norris Loop, Honoraville, AL 36042.

Mr. Norris was born October 31, 1936 in Crenshaw County and lived the early part of his life in Honoraville, AL. He resided in Andalusia prior to moving to Dothan in the late 1960’s. He was employed with AAA Cooper for over 44 years until his retirement in 2004. He was an avid Alabama Football Fan and enjoyed hunting and following Nascar. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Mr. Norris was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Norris and his grandson, Coleman Norris, a brother, Ned Norris, and a sister, Elsie Marvin.

Survivors include his wife Linda Norris; a son, Johnny (Gail) Norris; daughters, Khadra Mathis, Sonja (Phillip) Skipper, Elizabeth (Chris) Tinnell, Kimberly (Stanley) Chappell, and Angie (Mark) Saliba; grandchildren, Josh Gray, Kelsey Mathis, Amanda Mathis, William Norris, Kerri Skipper, Darcy Fitts, Derron Skipper, Houston Tinnell, Hudson Tinnell, Mattie Tinnell, Abbigail Amyx, and Eli Saliba; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Michael Norris; a sister, Katie McCarty; several nieces and nephews; a special friend, Earl Dove.
