Ronald (Riley) E. Riley 67 of Dothan, AL, passed January 24, 2020 peacefully in his home.


Riley was born to Dudley Riley and Laurella Bayes August 3, 1952, in Ashland KY, where he lived until 1973. At the age of 21 he joined the armed forces where he served 25 years with the Air Force and had many duty stations including two overseas tours. Riley retired with honors as a Senior Master Sergeant in 1996. In his retirement years, Riley enjoyed planting a big garden as well as woodworking. Kicking back with a good cigar and a cocktail always made him smile.


Riley was a devoted husband to Sharon (Patricia) Riley for 30 years; loving father to Matthew (Patricia) Riley and Ronald Riley II; stepfather to Harry (Becky) Lindeau and Eric (Heather) Lindeau . He had five siblings and 19 grandchildren. He also leaves to cherish his memory, several other family members.


He was preceded in death by his parents.


A Celebration of Life is scheduled for January 30, 2020 at the VFW 1426 Taylor Rd Dothan AL 36301. The family requests that any donations be made to VFW.
