HEADLAND…Ronnie Woodham, a resident of Headland, died Sunday afternoon, December 20, 2015, surrounded by his loving family in Ozark. He was 67.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 23, 2015, in the Blackwood Church with Reverend Phil Collins and Dr. C.J. Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the mortuary in Headland. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Quinta Dell Woodham, in the Blackwood community.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Blackwood Church, c/o Betty Jean Chancey, 2211 County Road 83, South, Headland, Alabama 36345 or Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Road, Dothan, Alabama 36302.
Mr. Woodham was born and reared in the Blackwood Community of Dale County. He was a graduate of Dale County High School and attended Wallace Community College. Mr. Woodham was the owner and operator of Woodham Sheet Metal in Headland. In earlier years, he was employed by Thomley’s in Dothan. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Woodham and a brother, Richard D. (Ricky) Woodham.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Dacia Woodham and Natalie Woodham Cullifer (Art), all of Ozark; a son Ronnie Woodham Jr. (Katie), Headland; his mother, Quinta Dell Kirkland Woodham, Midland City; four grandchildren, Michael Enfinger (Jones), Brittni Cullifer, Jack Woodham and Jace Woodham, and a granddaughter on the way, Laura Kate Woodham; a sister-in-law, Joyce Woodham, Headland; a nephew, Derek Woodham (Rachel), Lawrenceville, GA; two great-nephews, Tyler and Sam Woodham; several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews from the Lindsey family; an aunt, Corene Kirkland, Headland; an uncle, Thomas L. Woodham, Midland City.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Derek Woodham, Roger Woodham, Mack Woodham, Charles Strawder, Terry Knowles Theop Kennedy, John Kennedy and Michael Enfinger. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the nephews.
