OZARK…Mrs. Rosalyn Marie Wright, age 82 of Ozark, passed away, Monday, December 18, 2023, in Ozark. She was born May 7, 1941, to the late Edward & Leora Grummet Walter. She married Richard Wright, June 10, 1960.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date in Michigan. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wright drove the school bus for both Saranac and Ionia Public Schools in Michigan. She was a foster grandparent through Saranac Community Schools for several years where she became known as “Grandma Rosie”. She attended church at Calvary Assembly of God in Clio, Alabama and South Boston Church in Saranac, Michigan.
Mrs. Wright enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed doing word search, watching games shows and western movies. Her favorite pastime was collecting eagles.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Richard of Saranac, Michigan; children, Robin Martin (Steve), Rita Werdon (Al), Roxane Brigham (Randy), all of Saranac, Michigan, Roy Wright (Connie), Niceville, Florida, Randy Wright, Ada, Oklahoma, and Ramona Hepworth (Scott), Glasgow, Kentucky; thirteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Staat and brother, Allen Erb, both of Michigan; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Elizabeth Martin; her parents, Edward an Nina Walter and Leora and LaVern Erb; brothers, Duane Walter, Jim Walter, and Ronnie Grant; sisters, Linda Clouse and Lola Williams.
