Rosie Deloris Weatherington Duncan, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020. She was 55.


Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 in New Hope Cemetery in Midland City. The family will receive friends at Sunset Memorial Park on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 4-6 pm.


Rosie was born on August 29, 1964 in Dothan, Alabama to John Moses Weatherington, Sr. and Jewel E. (White) Weatherington, she attended the Dothan City School system. Lois loved life, family, and friends; she worked many years as a loving caretaker of others.


Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Duncan, her father, John M. Weatherington, Sr., her brother, John M. Weatherington, Jr., her nieces, Kelly A. Danzey and Breunia L. Jennings.


She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving mother, Jewel E. (White) Weatherington; her sisters, Sylvia (Eddie) Coleman, Sherry Danzey-Brooks, Carolyn Davis, Cathy Vance, and Nadine (Myles) Freeman; and her brother, Craig B. (Tamami) Weatherington, Sr.; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
