Rossy D. Range

Rossy D. Range, a resident of Dothan, AL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at her home. She was 90 years old.

A celebration of her life will be held 2 pm on Saturday, October 29, 2022, in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Rossy was born on October 12, 1932 to the late Nolia and Annie Lee Bowers. She graduated from Plant City High School in Plant City, Florida. She owned and operated her own cleaning service from 1985 until her retirement. Rossy loved the Lord and dedicated her life to instilling her christian values into her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her son, James Range; her daughter, Joan Washington; her siblings, Dorrutha Thomas, Aretha Anglin, Thelma Newsome, and Ed Willie Bowers.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her sons, Glenn (Sylvia) Davis, Donavan (Allison) Hargrett, Hosea (Tobia) Hargrett, Adrian (Mamie Lee) Range, and Kevin (Vanessa) Range; her daughters, Marion Rhodes, and Rosalinda (Virgil) Grace; her sibling, Pauline Mackey; her son-in-law, Adolphus Washington; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Glenn Davis, Donovan Hargrett, Hosea Hargrett, Adrian Range, Kevin Range, and Louis Davis.
