Ruby Crowell, age 57, of Level Plains, AL, passed away, Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Flowers Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Guy Causey officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Friday.

Mrs. Crowell enjoyed her family, fishing and helping others.

She was preceded in death by her father, Crip Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Crowell, Level Plains; two sons, Terry Crowell, Jack, AL; Greg Crowell (Emily) Enterprise, AL; three grandchildren, Joseph, Tiffany and Amanda Crowell; her mother, Jeanette Johnson, Level Plains, AL; two sisters, Peggy Jones (Terry) Newville, AL; Tammy Atchley (Thurston) Soddy Daisy, TN; a brother, Daniel Johnson (Cheryl) Malvern, AL.
