Ruby Nell Griffin of Enterprise passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in Theodore, AL.  She was 90.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at County Line Baptist Church with Dr. John Granger and Rev. Danny Wiggins officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the church Thursday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to County Line Baptist Church, 1000 AL-92, Enterprise, AL 36330.

 

Ms. Griffin was born July 15, 1926, in Enterprise, to the late Jack and Martha Johnson Jones.  She grew up in the Goodman Community.  She worked as a nurse for 34 years in Enterprise, and following her retirement, she volunteered with Hospice.  She was a loving mother and served her community as a caregiver.  She loved to garden.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Griffin; son, James Michael Griffin; daughter, Debbie Griffin Kidd; eleven siblings.

 

Survivors include a son, William “Mark” Griffin (Diana) of Theodore, AL; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
