DOTHAN…Rufus Frank Bradley, a resident of Dothan, passed away early Thursday morning, August 26, 2021, at his home. He was 85.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 29, 2021, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Billy Womack and Reverend Hosea Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory between Dothan and Headland. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the mortuary chapel. Social distancing and mask guidelines will be observed.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Smyrna Baptist Church, 1800 Huskey Road, Dothan, AL 36303.
Rufus Bradley was born and reared in Henry County and lived most of his adult life in Dothan. He retired as the Owner and Operator of Bradley Lawn Care. In earlier years, Rufus worked as a Maintenance Technician. He was a member Smyrna Baptist Church. Rufus was preceded in death by his father, C.J. Bradley, and his mother, Mary Lou Bradley Folds, his sons, Robert Bradley and Ronald Bradley, and four brothers, Mack Bradley, Johnny Bradley, Robert Earl Bradley and Larry Don Bradley.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Shirley Jenkins Bradley; his granddaughter, Rachael Bradley Pfalzgraff (B.J.), Dothan; two great-grandchildren, Tripp Pfalzgraff and Ellie Kate Pfalzgraff; two sisters, Margaret Gissendaner and Juanita Turner (Bob), all of Abbeville; two brothers, Eugene Bradley (Kay), Milledgeville, GA; and Wesley Bradley, Virginia; a sister-in-law, Lillie Geer (Dennis); a brother-in-law, Wayne Jenkins; several nieces and nephews.
Serving as active pallbearers will be B.J. Pfalzgraff, Billy Pfalzgraff, Chase Pfalzgraff, Dennis Geer, Josh Burbank and Ronnie Lynn.
