Mr. Rufus Johnson Lawhorne of Enterprise passed away, Monday, August 14. 2017, at his residence surrounded by his family.  He was 83.

 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 19, 2017, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise. Following the service memorialization will be by cremation. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00 am and continuing until service time.

 

Mr. Lawhorne was born March 23, 1934 in Tennessee to the late Rufus Johnson and Minnie Pearl Ward Lawhorne. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters.

 

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Lawhorne; children: Linda, David, Leslie, Denise; one brother, James Lawhorne (Linda); numerous nieces and nephews; as well as all of his Goldwing friends.
