Date: A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at Sunset Memorial in Midland City, AL on Saturday, July 10th at 5:00 pm. Family will receive friends and family at the same location from 4:00 – 5:00 pm.

Russell Glen Peak passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, in his home, surrounded by family in Daphne, AL
Russell was born to the late Calvin Glenwin Peak and Niva Faye Peak of Echo, AL. He attended Carroll High School. Russell was a member of the Army National Guard. He spent many years from a young age through adulthood working alongside his father and then he himself with Barber’s Milk as the “Milk Man” in the Ozark, AL area. He ended his working days with Lawson Trucking of Montgomery, AL. Russell enjoyed fishing, traveling, watching college football and cooking wonderful meals but his favorite thing was spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Calvin Glenwin Peak; father in law, Earl Smith and his grandparents, Hobson & Nola Bryant and Tom and Eula Peak.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Tammy Smith Peak, who was also his own caregiving, guardian angel during the last few years of his life; his children, Jamie (Dustin) Climer, Stacie Portrey (Anthony), Josh (Jordon) Dykes; his grandchildren, Isabella, Addison, Easton, Slade, Stetson, Kaitlyn, Shelby and Thomas; his mother, Faye Peak; mother in law, Martha Smith; siblings, Sherry ( Chris) Golson, Jennifer (Randy) Keller, Brenda (Bill) Clark, Faye Norman, Sylvia McCourry, Michelle (Rob) Watson; many nieces and nephews, grandpups and his own dogs, Killer and Sugar.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation in honor of Russ for the long battle he fought with diabetes and kidney failure, which eventually took him from this earth to his forever home.
